This is the story of the yoni, the womb and the throat.

Once upon a time there was a sacred lotus flower who’s name was Yoni. Yoni’s best friends’ names were Womb and Throat. Womb and Throat were amazing friends as well, and the three of them would dance, play and sing so beautifully together.

Yoni had the most beautiful melodies, and Womb and Throat would love to harmonise with her so she could really express herself to the benefit of them all!

One day Monkey Mind came into their garden where they were singing and taking great pleasure in the company and connection of each other. Monkey Mind thought that he was really missing out here! They were having all this fun without him, how dare they!

When Yoni, Womb and Throat were taking a short break, enjoying a drink of water at the crystal clear pool of wisdom, Monkey Mind found the closest tree to Yoni and started to play with her. After a very short time, Monkey Mind decided that he wanted Yoni to be HIS friend and thought it best for her to leave the group and come with him.

‘Yoni, Yoni, you’re the prettiest one of all your friends. You really should come with me so that I can take you to others who will also find you very pretty!’

Yoni had never been called pretty before, so she thought it might be a nice experience to go with Monkey Mind and meet these others who would find her pretty as well!

Womb and Throat were devastated. The connection had been broken and the magic had left. Although they still had each other, it wasn’t the same without Yoni’s beautiful melodies!

Yoni soon discovered that it really wasn’t all Monkey Mind had talked it up to be, being admired by other monkeys. They never asked her to sing! They didn’t know how to support her to feel good and express herself freely as Womb and Throat always had!

Once Yoni had this epiphany, she approached Monkey Mind and told him that she was going home. Home to herself and home to her friends. Although Monkey tried to sling some fear and self-righteous indignation that she was leaving, Yoni chose to leave. Anyone who was going to treat Yoni this way when all she wanted to see her family was not welcome in her life anymore and she drew the boundary firmly with Monkey Mind…

”Bye Felicia! I’m going home!’ Yoni sang as she danced away.

When Yoni returned to Womb and Throat it was GLORIOUS!

The melodies returned, the pleasure was ignited and the connection undeniable! They danced and they sang as they played together, making glorious music, feeling the power and love of the energy that moved through them as they were once again in unity.
