What do you do when you’re feeling out of whack? Do you have the conscious self-awareness that alerts you to your off-feelingness when it happens so that you can become aware of what came into your life that threw you off feeling good? This is where you want to get to, if you’re not there already. Once you start dreaming about things, you are then in a vibrational place that you are willing to receive.
The wonderful thing about this life is that we have choices and when we learn how powerful we truly are, we begin to see our desires manifested into reality. That’s the sweet spot in my humble opinion! Sending out a wave of desire that you have focused on that you really want in this life, and then patiently and expectedly waiting to watch it unfold in the physical world. The tricky thing though is staying out of our own way once we have set our heart to something.
The MOST important question we can ask ourself at any one time is: How do I feel? If the answer to that question is anything less than ‘Great!’ then you have to spend just a little bit of time, IN THAT MOMENT, to coax yourself back into satisfaction and appreciation. If you choose not to spend just a little bit of time doing this then you must take full responsibility for what then manifests into your life that is less that what you really wanted.
The biggest challenge with alignment and manifestation is not in the wanting and focusing on the thing we want to bring into our experience, it’s in the resistance. What does this mean? Well you might really want to lose weight but this isn’t happening. Is this not happening because you don’t think you’re worthy of healthy food? Is this not happening because if you do lose weight you will then have to spend a lot of money on a new wardrobe? Is this not happening because you have some fear around what others will think of you or the way you will be treated as a result of changing your physicality? Is this not happening because that then will make you visible to other people and you don’t really like feeling exposed? You see, there is a lot of resistance there which is preventing the manifestation to come into your reality. This applies to anything and everything that you are calling in. If there is resistance, have a look at it and let it go. I am all for putting all of your focus into what you want and not what you don’t want, but you still have the responsibility of removing the resistance.
Have a look at it, tap on it if that’s something you do. Forgive it, thank it for the lesson and bringing stuff to light you need to work on and let it go. Sometimes the kindest thing we can do for ourselves is really look into our stuff. Really have a look at it and address the story that you’re telling yourself around it. I tell myself the most ridiculous stories at time that I’m not worthy of this or that, or I’m not ready for something because ‘insert bullshit reason here”, or because I don’t have enough money. Or I’ll be able to something when ‘insert ridiculous expectation” happens. It’s all rubbish. It’s all just resistance and it can all be forgiven and released to bring you back into alignment and closer to witnessing your desire or creation become.
A beautiful client of mine this week introduced me to the wonderful modality of Ho’Oponopono. This is a practise of ultimate responsibility and forgiveness. Essentially what this means is that everything that happens ‘to’ us is really for us and of us. So if something is appearing in your experience that is less than desirable to you, well then it’s time to have a look at why this has come forward to you, since we create all that happens around us. Once you are confronted with a lesser than desirable experience then you repeat these four sentences over and over to yourself:
I love you
I am sorry
Please forgive me
Thank you
Now, you might have resistance asking for forgiveness and apologising for someone else’s shitty behaviour. “Ruby was a real bitch to me! How is that my fault?” Well, are you or are you not a powerful being and create all that comes into your experience? Well then, what is it about your vibration that called that experience to you and what you need to look at in yourself that was brought to the surface?
I want to be very clear about what these phrases mean to me when I say them in my head.
‘I love you” – I love you my creator, my inner being, my body, etc.
‘I am sorry” – I am sorry that my consciousness created this and forgot about my own divinity and power to co-create incredible experiences
‘Please forgive me’ – I am apologising to my inner being for screwing up what I have called in, apologising to my creator for forgetting my own divinity and worthiness.
‘Thank you’ – Gratitude for the lesson and what it has allowed you to identify and release within yourself so you do not draw this back into your experience for round 2 (round 6 for some of us!).
There are some incredible meditations that are available out there if you struggle with getting there on your own. You can also consider taking up EFT or tapping. Brad Yates has some really cool videos on youtube to help show you what to do to ‘tap it out’. The other option is very simple, just coax yourself a little bit, into a state of appreciation and allowing. You can start small. Very small if you have a lot going on in your life. Build from there. Get to that good feeling place and build from there.
I know it’s hard sometimes when you’re in despair to even imagine yourself feeling well. So, then the work is to take yourself from despair to anger. Now, I don’t recommend setting up camp in the land of anger and living your life from there. I have done it in the past, and it’s not a happy state of being! Once you feel a little bit angry, maybe you can work with yourself a little bit more and get frustrated. Once you’re frustrated you can easily work your way into hopefulness… and you can get anywhere and everywhere from hopefulness! This little method has been of so much service to me when I have been in some dark places.
